Actor Ram Charan Tej, who shone as warrior Bhairava in S S Rajamouli’s
blockbuster Magadheera, opines that such a fantastic film is difficult
to be remade and even if it did, it will not have the same success. Ram
Charan expressed his reasons as to why – “I don’t think Magadheera
should be remade nor do I think it will be. It is very difficult to
recreate the same magic. Magadheera was not made by one person; it was
an effort of the entire team and unless the same team comes back, I
don’t think it will do justice” he said. Adding to the reasons more than
one, Charan also cited examples – “3 idiots was remade in various
languages down south, but it wasn’t successful anywhere because the
magic was created by Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani. Some films
shouldn’t be remade”. Magadheera which was released in 2009 broke all
the records of Tollywood and went on to become one of the biggest hits
ever for Ram Charan as a Star and Actor. Even till day, it is one of the
most sought after movies in home videos collection in the households.
